Library Automation :

The University library has a Library Management Software - KOHA (Open Source Software) all house keeping services provided by KOHA.

RFID System & KIOSK:

The university library is equipped with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) enabled systems. The RFID enabled KIOSK will provide the facility of self Check-in/Check-out of library items. The user has to put his/her smart card on KIOSK RFID workstation platform, the system will check the user's details with KOHA database and details will appear on screen and then the user can put book(s) on the workstation platform. The system will show the options like borrow, return, and exit. Opt any of them for processing the circulation (issue/return).

Security Gate Antenna:

If the books are taken without RFID processing, the electronics gates will detect the theft raising buzzer. Users have to ensure the proper processing of books through RFID systems otherwise disciplinary action will be taken by the library.

Internet Facility:

University library has Wi-Fi connectivity for accessing the online resources for their academic and research purpose.
